...The next day I called Mr. Sullivan and he was just as nice and knowledgeable about part D as Mr. Camacho was about the supplemental insurance. Mr. Sullivan talked me through all of the plans available, and there were quite a few. He actually worked on his computer as we talked and would explain the difference in coverage from one plan to the other and from all the available companies he had available to choose. He then emailed me printouts of the rates and benefits and the cost of all the plans and companies available and helped me understand the difference between each company. After he educated me on all the options available I finally chose a plan and he actually sent me application forms for enrollment and talked me through the complete process.
After several months using my prescription drug card, I felt like I was not getting the correct pricing and co-pays on my prescriptions. I got back on the phone with Mr. Sullivan and explained what I thought was going on with my pharmacy. He worked me up a chart of the exact cost of each and every medication in my list including the exact monies I was expecting to pay for copays. The charts showed me the exact costs for the medications on a monthly basis and on a three-month basis. So, I needed my prescriptions refilled and I took the copy of the charts Mr. Sullivan had provided for me and went to see my pharmacy. The pharmacy was very nice and I showed them the charts and the expected costs and in most cases, the data furnished me by Mr. Sullivan was to the actual penny and on some prescriptions even a few pennies less.
